The result of these mods? Much smoother cornering at all speeds, and taking ramps easily 5 MPH faster than before. A better revving engine, especially in higher gears, making fourth gear actually usable. And as much as 3 MPG better fuel economy, if I can keep my boot out of it! It must be the new decals...

The end of 2011, and time to show this year's updates to our Soul. Soul advertising differed greatly between America and Canada. Our Soul is now an archive of both:
U.S.A.: Soul Hamster The NASCAR decal conceals a bad stone chip from highway commuting :-(	Canada: A strange campaign in which some unusual people were found PEERING INTO A SOUL. Thanks to a certain Parts Manager who snuck this off his dealership's window into ours!

Since our cars lapped the Delaware Speedway NASCAR track this summer, I decided to create the Kia Soul Edition. NASCAR emblems appear on the rear hatch and the B pillars on each side. The reflective orange KIA emblems are from custombrakelight.com

Durham Kia's other contribution: the rear body kit. The front is on Homer1's Molten Soul Extreme Edition. Thanks, Aaron	Y'all notice we are cat fanciers?


The final modifications of 2011: Direct from North Wales, a Tempest Grille Ring, and chrome tag frames to replace those of a debunked dealer.
